Job Title: Systems Safety/Analysis Engineer – Flight Controls
Location: Remote
Summary: We are looking for a Safety Analysis Engineer to join the Flight Controls team, focusing on safety-critical systems for the 777X and MAX programs. The primary responsibility is to support safety analysis activities to ensure compliance with aerospace certification standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct safety assessments on Flight Controls systems, focusing on hardware and software interactions.
- Perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) to identify potential safety risks.
- Document safety findings and recommendations to support certification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including testing and verification engineers, to ensure compliance with DO-254 standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with safety analysis methods, including FMEA and FTA, in aerospace.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for safety-critical aerospace systems, such as DO-254 and ARP4761.
