Machinist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining precision machinery to produce high-quality components to exact specifications. This role requires an understanding of mechanical drawings, machining techniques, and quality control standards.

• Set up and operate machinery, such as hydraulic presses, grinders, and drill presses, etc.

• Read and interpret engineering blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.

• Monitor machining operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure precision and quality.

• Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure compliance with specifications.

• Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

• Collaborate with quality control and production teams to optimize processes.

• Record production data and complete necessary documentation.

• High school diploma or GED; technical or trade school certification preferred.

• Strong mechanical aptitude.

• Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Pay:

Negotiable, based upon experience
