Maintenance Custodian

SUMMARY                Keeps working areas in production departments of industrial establishment in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following: Responsible for daily recycling plastic, aluminum, steel, paper, and cardboard for entire facility. 3 times a week, sweep or vacuum, mop offices, warehouse offices, lower and upper offices, and wash windows if needed. Daily transports trash and waste to disposal area for entire facility. Daily replenishes bathroom supplies for all restrooms. Daily operates industrial truck to transport materials within plant. Coordinate outside contracting for cleaning, metal, and compactor pick up as needed. Every Wednesday, keep inventory of and order all cleaning supplies. Daily mop and empty waste basket in First Aid Room. Once a week clean and flush for 3 to 5 minutes all Eye Wash Stations Every other week, clean out/wipe down refrigerator and freezer in Communication Room. Daily wipe down of all employee breakroom tables and moping of floor. Track above duties and responsibilities in spreadsheet. Perform all duties in compliance with regulatory requirements as well as company policies and procedures   SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES  None   EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
