About Us:
Krugler Law is a well-respected law firm in Cincinnati, Ohio, specializing in estate planning, elder law, and probate services. We are seeking a full-time Estate Planning Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our attorney and senior paralegal with drafting estate planning documents, related real estate documents, meeting with clients, and supporting administrative tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Preparation: Draft, review, and interpret legal documents, including durable powers of attorney, health care powers of attorney, last wills and testaments, and revocable and irrevocable living trust agreements.
- Client Interaction: Meet with clients regularly, prepare for meetings, and assist during signing appointments, including notarizing documents when needed.
- File Management: Organize, scan, and index estate planning documents, share digital files with clients, and ensure real estate documents are properly recorded.
- Probate Support: Assist probate paralegal with initial probate administration for estate planning clients and support probate litigation cases as needed.
- Real Estate Transactions: Prepare all necessary real estate documents to document transfer-on-death designations or to transfer real estate into trusts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with attorney to address estate planning, trust, or power of attorney issues.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and contribute to a positive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: Degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field preferred. Paralegal certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in estate planning, elder law, or probate law
- Skills: Proficient in legal document drafting and estate planning processes.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Familiarity with legal software and document management systems.
- Notary Public certification is a plus.

Pay: $50,339.00 - $56,000.00 per year
