Paid Litigation Law Clerk :

Immediate Opening for a part-time paid Law Clerk position at our San Antonio office. KRW Lawyers is looking for a competitive and outgoing self-starter to join our team as a Law Clerk. This is the ideal position for a candidate who wishes to gain hands-on experience and contribute from small to high profile cases. Our firm is built around a collaborative office environment where our attorneys work together and utilize creative methods to aggressively represent our clients. You will learn how to build a case the “right” way, from intake to trial with attorney’s who are passionate about teaching the next generation of litigators. We also pride ourselves on a fun / social culture that values every employee. The ideal candidate should have an outstanding ability to communicate, graduating 2024 or later, and be in the top 25% of their class -but all applicants will be considered.

Responsibilities :

Assisting the Attorneys from intake to trial by drafting legal pleadings, demands, research memos, discovery, and more. Communicate between providers, legal assistants, court personnel, other attorneys, and clients, etc. Assist in preparing for mediations, hearings, depositions, and trial, etc. A foundational understanding of Torts, Texas Civil Procedure, and Evidence will serve a significant advantage.

Qualifications :

Strong analytical skills

Strong oral and written communication skills

Works well as a team and / or individually and entrepreneurial minded

Strong attention to detail and organization

Ability to multi-task and prioritize well.

Needles Software experience is a plus.

Spanish speaking is a plus, but not necessary.

Advanced experience in Microsoft Office programs

Top 25% preferred

A foundational understanding of Torts, Texas Civil Procedure, and Evidence preferred.
