Immediate Opening for a full-time Paralegal at our San Antonio office. KRW Lawyers is looking for a competitive and outgoing self-starter to join our team as a Paralegal. This is the ideal position for a candidate who wishes to gain hands-on experience and contribute from small to high-profile cases. The ideal candidate should have an outstanding ability to communicate with our attorneys, mediators, court clerks, employees, clients, etc.
Responsibilities:
Assisting the Attorneys with handling tasks on their docket. From drafting correspondence, scheduling mediation, filing and e-filing in federal and state courts, calendaring deadlines, and hearing dates, Communicate between providers, paralegals, legal secretaries, court personnel, other attorneys, clients, etc. Assist in preparing for mediations, hearings, depositions, and trials, etc. A foundational understanding of Torts, Texas Civil Procedure, and Evidence will serve as a significant advantage.
Qualifications:
Spanish speaking
Minimum 3 years of legal experience.
Strong analytical skills
Strong oral and written communication skills Work well as a team and/or individually and entrepreneurial-minded Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to multi-task and prioritize well.
Ability to adapt & work well in high-stress situations.
Needles Software experience is a plus.
Advanced experience in Microsoft Office programs
Recommended 2 years experience in the legal field
