Job Summary
The Packaging Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the activities of packaging personnel, ensuring efficient packaging operations in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise packaging line operations and ensure products are packaged according to quality standards
- Train, mentor, and provide guidance to packaging team members
- Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing levels as needed
- Ensure adherence to CGMP, FDA regulations, and safety protocols
- Inspect packaging equipment and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Coordinate with maintenance for repairs and preventive maintenance
- Oversee inventory management related to packaging materials
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in operating hand tools and mechanical equipment
- Knowledge of logic controllers is a plus
- Familiarity with forklift operation and maintenance
- Ability to fabricate, assemble, and package products effectively
- Strong understanding of packaging processes and procedures

Pay: $71,280.00 - $95,000.00 per year
