What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Support Technician position at KRYTON Engineered Metals?
KRYTON Engineered Metals is looking for a Quality Support Technician to join our dynamic team.
Selected employees would be responsible for:
- Assist and execute in-process inspections to identify and resolve quality issues
- Advise team and management staff on the status of reaction plans
- Identify and document nonconforming products and assist operations in resolving quality issues
- Operate precision measurement instruments such as hand tools and arm CMM to ensure compliance with customer requirements
- Enable operators to independently identify, troubleshoot, and resolve quality issues to meet standards.
- Execute and monitor quality programs to ensure process controls meet customer and regulatory requirements
- Utilize ERP system for product disposition, record of quality inspections, and maintaining audit trails
- Perform incoming inspections and receiving activities for outsourced and material-furnished products
- Create measurement routines
- Troubleshoot product failures and work with teams to implement corrective and preventive actions to improve quality performance
- Execute part specific quality plans
- Support team in execution of calibration activities
Ideal applicants will have 1 or 2 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, exposure to quality audits, root cause analysis and corrective action activities and use of precision measurement instruments (preferred experience in arm CMM (Hexagon) and use of PC-DMIS CAD ).
