We are seeking a dedicated Loan Operations Specialist to join our team in the Smithfield Operations Center.
What You’ll Do:
- Performs daily pickup and delivery of mail from the Post Office and any exchange of documentation between Corporate and Operations.

Process matured and paid-off loans, including sending payoff quotes and canceling liens in accordance with regulations and bank policy.
- Images and indexes all documents related to loan files and items for other departments as directed by management. This includes correctly identifying the imaging cabinet / folder, name of documents, and completing document indexing information for each document. Ensures document images are not duplicated and legible.

Assist customers and branch staff with general loan maintenance and problem resolution.

Maintain insurance payments from escrow accounts and assist with collateral insurance tracking.

Post participation loan payments, maintain due dates, and wire funds to participating banks.

Reconcile loan GL accounts and prepare reports for internal and external purposes.

Analyze loan transaction histories, perform manual interest calculations, and create online transactions.

Manage incoming titles from eTitle (DMV titles) and update collateral in the core system.

Track and file continuation of UCCs, ensuring timely filing and cancellation as needed.

Process credit card payments, travel alerts, new account maintenance, and fraud alerts.

Issue new credit cards and assist customers with statements and payments.
