What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Analyst position at KS Large Bore Pistons LLC?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our company's incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and record daily customer payments accurately and efficiently
- Generate and send invoices to clients in a timely manner
- Maintain and update customer billing records in our accounting system
- Monitor and track accounts receivable aging reports
- Follow up on past due accounts through phone calls, emails, and written correspondence
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
- Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding payment status and outstanding balances
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing-related issues
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or similar financial role
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong mathematical and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Accounts Receivable Specialist (CARS) certification
- Experience in industry-specific accounting
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
SAP experience
