About the Role:
As an Patient Care Coordinator at Osseo Family Dental (OFD), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. You will be responsible for managing patient insurance claims and verifying insurance coverage. You will also assist the clinical team by seating patients, sterilizing operatories/instruments, presenting treatment plans to patients, and answering any questions they may have. Your attention to detail and ability to navigate insurance policies will be essential in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care. You will work closely with our dental team to ensure that all insurance-related matters are handled efficiently and effectively.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 years of experience in dental insurance coordination
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field
- Experience with dental practice management software - Open Dental
- OSHA/HIPPA Training
- Experience in Sterilization / Dental Assisting or a willingness to learn
- iTero intra oral scanning experience / or a willingness to learn
