We are currently hiring for a Retail Manager to lead the retail team at our Westloop branch as we grow and build on our success.

Wages start at $48,000 to $68,000 per annum based on experience. Employee benefits include 401k, health, dental and vision insurance and paid time off.
Job Responsibilities :
Treat clients and bank employees with an exceptional degree of respect, inspire the trust of others, work ethically and with integrity, uphold organizational values, accept responsibility for own actions and those of subordinate employees
Offer leadership, training and supervision of branch employees; provide a superior level of client relation and promote a culture of exemplary service through example, guidance and motivation
Pursue the professional development of subordinate staff through excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with delegation of duties to assure a highly cross trained staff; participate in and require employee participation in bank-provided training
Perform personnel actions including performance appraisals, disciplinary actions and interviewing candidates for employment
Maintain complete knowledge of bank's products, services and delivery channels : know the "subject matter experts" across the range of bank operations
Provide for the all-inclusive administration of branch functions, including the coordination of staffing and required resources; direct and participate in day-to-day branch operations; maintain knowledge and ability to perform substantially all branch functions; assume direct responsibility for branch functions in absence of staff members or as otherwise required
Review and approve or deny large and / or unusual transactions; maintain oversight of activities and provide for employee awareness to mitigate potential losses resulting from incomplete, erroneous or fraudulent transactions
Intercede in and resolve complex inquires, requests or transactions; consistently apply superior decision making techniques pertaining to inquiries, approvals and requests as they apply to policies and procedures, keeping within assigned approval limits and using these instances as learning tools for employee development
Provide for and enforce controls over cash, vaults, negotiable instruments and confidential bank and client information in accordance with bank policies; ensure timely balancing / reconciliations and the completion of related documentation
Ensure the communication and implementation of bank policy and procedure changes; provide for and coordinate appropriate staff training
Instill and maintain an effective referral and sales environment through ongoing staff education of banking products and services; investigate and follows up on significant changes in status of existing clients; motivate and monitors staff in cross selling and product presentation : meet with clients to discuss needs or concerns and outlines appropriate services
Engage in business development activities and solicitation of new consumer and commercial prospects; identify and pursue potential sources of business achieve individual and branch sales goals through new sales, referrals and retention of client relationships
Participate in community affairs to increase the bank's visibility and to enhance new existing business opportunities
Maintain knowledge of security and safety policies and strictly adhere to established procedures; works closely with Security Officer to maintain a current security plan for the branch; ensure branch staff in properly trained and aware of any changes to safety and security procedures
Ensure the branch office is maintained in a neat, clean and attractive manner; recommend redecoration, repair or redesign of floor space as necessary
Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
High School Graduate or GED required; Associates or undergraduate degree preferred.
Current drivers license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities
Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and communicate effectively with others; effective communication and negotiation skills necessary for successful customer interactions
Equivalent directly relevant combination of education and experience; work experience must consist of branch management and supervisory background
Intermediate skills in personal computer operation and office software productivity tools
Bilingual and fluent in both Spanish and English, preferred
Intermediate math skills; ability to calculate interest, proportions and percentage / ratio and percent
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Demonstration of sound judgment and the ability to identify and analyze problems quickly
Intermediate sales and marketing abilities
Ability to work with minimal supervision while performing duties
Physical Requirements :
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Able to view a computer screen for long periods of time
Must be able to speak and listen clearly both in person and on the phone
Fine visual acuity to read for accuracy
This job may require lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, 10 pounds frequently
