Job Description

Pro Parts Center/KSI is seeking a Shipping Center Supervisor that will be responsible for overseeing the night shift operations. The role will require management efforts to ensure on-time execution, fleet maintenance and communications with driving team and other departments as needed

• Lead a team of 15 drivers through any challenges that occur on shift.
• Supervise all aspects of the KSI fleet, including driver, fleet and compliance management.
• Liaison with operations team to ensure fleet meets operations KPIs
• Maintains strict compliance with DOT and FMCSA rules and regulations
• Verify and maintain HOS and DVIR program for the KSI fleet.
• Communicates with management on service or performance issues.
• Responsible for timecards, vacation approvals, and conducting performance reviews.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in transportation. 
• Excellent verbal, written, and auditory communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to plan and organize workload; flexibility to handle pressure and work with interruptions and meet deadlines
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others.
• Ability to remain professional and courteous in challenging situations.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.

Additional Information

Compensation:

Salary rate ranging from $52,000 - $ 58,000, based on experience

Schedule & Hours:

Monday- Friday, 8–10 hour days

PHYSICAL DEMANDS  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, This position requires sitting, standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, climbing, and ascending/descending stairs. Requires sitting for relatively long periods of time, while driving. It also requires frequent bending, climbing, movement, and lifting of up to 75 pounds during the physical loading/unloading of vehicles and when stocking products. Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
