Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Generate detailed quotes for customers in key service areas:
- Stamping
- Laser cutting
- Welding
- Assembly
- Die design, build, maintenance, and changes
- Communicate customer requirements to internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Develop and grow customer relationships through proactive outreach and exceptional service.
- Maintain CRM software, following up on all quotes and tracking opportunities.
- Review and reconcile final job costs with original quotes to identify areas for improvement in future estimates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and process improvements.
Required Skills & Experience:
To be considered, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Proven experience in sales, quoting, and estimating in a manufacturing environment, preferably in stamping and tooling industries.
- In-depth knowledge of machining processes, tooling design/build, and metal fabrication (e.g., laser cutting, welding, assembly).
- Proficient in MS Excel and Word; experience with CRM software is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with customers and internal teams.
- Sales expertise with experience negotiating pricing, payment terms, and contracts.
- Analytical skills to reconcile job costs with quotes and improve accuracy over time.
- Self-motivated with a focus on growing the business and meeting targets.
