Responsible for the continued performance of the machining and auxiliary equipment to operate within specification.

• Monitors product quality and adjust CNC program and tools as necessary to maintain conforming product
• Quarantines non-conforming product.
• Performs necessary quality checks and inspections according to the control plan and inspection instructions. 
• Reading blueprints or other instructions to determine how to operate machinery or equipment
• Trains CNC operator and others
• Completes pre-shift inspections ( preflight check sheets)
• Completes production reports, for each shift and hands into Shift Lead
• Monitors coolant, oil, cutting tool and consumable/spare part inventories to ensure the equipment does not run out of necessary parts or material. 
• Monitor and  maintaining the cycle time and reliability of the machining process.
• Monitor cleanliness and 5S of the workstation. 
• Assist in any area of the factory as directed by Shift Leader or Manager. 
• Responsible for identifying Environmental Aspects for his/her department, and supporting Environmental Management Plan (EMP) goals and targets through training, engagement and communication. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this position, the employee must comply with all safety regulations and proper operating procedures, utilizing required safety equipment at all times.  Employees are obligated to leave workplace in a clean and orderly manner.  Must collaborate in the bridging of break times, and briefly inform the succeeding operator of activities that took place during his or her shift.
