JOB TITLE: PROJECT MANAGER
KSP Studio is looking for a Project Manager to join our team! Someone with a professional degree in architecture and 8 years of professional architectural experience.
POSITION: Full-time
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall success of the project and is the day-to-day contact person for the client.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· 8 years minimum experience from transferable industry
· Goal oriented, sense of ownership, willingness to excel
· Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents and permit set submittal process.
· Capable of overseeing multiple projects and production team.
· Ability to understand, coordinate and lead project engineers and consultants.
· Working knowledge of construction Types I, II, and III.
· Knowledge of IBC, CBC, and LEED
· Positive supervision and training of technical staff.
· Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills
· Responsible for meeting the overall project schedule, fee, and construction budget
· Organize the project team and direct work to KSPS in-house disciplines and outside consultants in an effective manner
· Establish project work plan, budget and profitability
· Monitor project scope development and changes, tracking adjustments to the projected project and construction cost
· Work with project team to create and regularly update overall project schedules and milestones based on feedback from other team members, owner and contractors.
· Lead and document internal and external meetings
· Assist the Project Executive with preparation and execution of all contracts and agreements
· Develop project proposals, execution plans and fees in conjunction with the Project Executive
· Participate in facilitates multi-discipline/office collaboration within firm
· Develop new and nurture existing clients
· Developing and managing project work plans, budgets, & schedules.
· Preparing a variety of studies and reports, including, but not limited to: Design Studies, Existing Conditions Assessments; Feasibility Studies; Code Analysis; and Historic Structure Reports.
· Assuming project manager architect role on architecture projects, as prime or sub consultant.
· Preparing contract documents.
· Collaboratively managing teams for large projects and working individually on smaller projects simultaneously.
· Managing client communication.
· Supervising/mentoring junior staff.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office programs

· Proven ability to function in all phases of the project development from schematic design through project closeout
· Deep knowledge of technical design and documentations requirements

EDUCATION
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field required
• Architectural License, State of California preferred
