Hours of Operation are 8:15 am – 5:15 pm, Monday – Friday, and every other or rotating Saturdays from 8:45 am –12:15 pm, with occasional weekday meetings that would begin at 8:00 a.m.

A day in the life of a Member Support Representative:
- Answer phones utilizing communication skills to make every call into the Credit Union a warm and welcoming experience.
- Educate and serve members with products & services utilizing our sales as service culture.
- Team members are required to meet monthly goals with opportunities to achieve financial incentives.
- Provide excellent service to Credit Union members with their inquiries by building relationships using the phone, video, text, chat, and email channels. Utilize the same channels to open and close memberships.
- Originates consumer loan applications to mitigate risk and achieve the member’s objectives. While gathering information and documentation necessary for underwriting. Owning an application from beginning to closing for VISAs and unsecured loans under a defined threshold.
- Consistently bring a positive and sales-minded attitude to identify and assess members’ financial needs with the goal of achieving member satisfaction and supporting all members and team members. This position seeks to provide solutions for members’ needs.
- Maintain confidentiality in all kstate CREDIT UNION and member matters.
- Present a positive image of the kstate CREDIT UNION through professional appearance and courteous attitude.
Member Support Representative attributes and skills:

Member Support Representative qualifications
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent GED
- Six months - two (2) years of experience in call centers, Credit Unions or other financial institutions is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including active listening skills
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must be good with details, i.e. numbers and names
- Must have excellent member service and sales etiquette
