We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative with B2B sales experience. Experience in the appliance industry is preferred, but not required. This role involves engaging directly with property management companies, asset owners, developers, and construction firms to drive sales of our appliance products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in outside sales, excelling at building relationships, identifying client needs, and delivering tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting & Lead Generation:
- Actively seek out and establish new business relationships by knocking on doors, making cold calls, and leveraging professional networks.
- Identify and qualify potential clients, including property management companies, developers, construction companies, and asset owners.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client needs and recommending the best appliance solutions.
Sales Execution:
- Develop and execute strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals tailored to client requirements.
- Close sales opportunities efficiently and effectively.
Market Insights:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
- Provide feedback to internal teams on customer preferences and market demands.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and conferences as needed.
Qualifications:
Required Experience:
- Proven success in B2B outside sales.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, cold call, and generate new leads in a field-based role.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in the appliance industry.
- Experience selling to property management companies, developers, construction companies, or asset owners.
Skills:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Ability to work independently while managing a diverse territory.
Other Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the tristate area.
