Inventory Lead

The Inventory Lead plays a crucial role in managing inventory levels and ensuring the efficient operation of stock management processes. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers. The Inventory Lead will oversee inventory control activities, assist in training staff, and ensure that all inventory-related tasks are completed accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

In Store & Warehouse

Owns: Accurate and timely replenishment

• Leadership, Management and Accountability for Department
• Manages Replenishment & Location Transfers: accurate and timely replenishment, inventory discrepancy documentation, transfer audits, and stock to bin ratio
• Responsible of product cleanliness and standards
• Manages Process Success (Ops): Replenishments Score, Planogram Schedule
• Manage and oversee daily inventory operations, ensuring accurate stock levels are maintained.
• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory movements and maintain accurate records.
• Load and unload products from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate inventory needs and resolve any discrepancies.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries regarding inventory availability.
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely to move products within the warehouse.
• Train new staff on inventory control processes and best practices.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory to identify any issues or areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall operational efficiency.
