Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and organized Production Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our screen printing shop. This role is essential in ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will oversee the production floor, ensuring employees have the tools and resources they need, are staying on task, limiting distractions (like phone use), and maintaining punctuality.
Key responsibilities include monitoring employee performance, coordinating with team leads, and holding end-of-day meetings to align on goals and plans for the following production day. This position requires strong leadership, time management, and communication skills to help keep the team on track and production timelines met.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure production operations run smoothly and efficiently
- Monitor staff to ensure they are on task, on time, and minimizing phone use
- Provide employees with necessary tools, materials, and support
- Assist in resolving day-to-day production issues
- Conduct end-of-day meetings to review progress and plan for the next day
- Maintain a clean, organized, and productive work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a screen printing or similar production environment preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
- Comfortable enforcing workplace standards and expectations
