Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of stock levels.
- Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials in compliance with company policies.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on equipment operation, safety procedures, and best practices in materials handling.
- Utilize AS400 systems for inventory tracking and reporting purposes.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to support e-commerce initiatives and logistics functions.
Skills
- Proficient in Fishbowl Inventory Mangament software for inventory management and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of materials handling techniques and equipment, including forklifts.
- Proven experience in team management, schedule management, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Demonstrated ability in process improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with distribution center operations and best practices in logistics.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
