The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of departmental dynamics, including guest services, employee management, fleet operations, and facility maintenance.

Position Overview: The Assistant Operations Manager in the Tours Department will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the department, focusing on enhancing guest experiences, staff training, and maintaining operational standards. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of departmental dynamics, including guest services, employee management, fleet operations, and facility maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily staff meetings and act as the AM/PM Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed.
- Address and resolve guest and staff issues promptly and effectively.
- Monitor daily operational workflows and ensure smooth execution.
- Oversee staff schedules and duties, ensuring adequate coverage and efficiency.
- Maintain regular communication with the Fleet Manager regarding fleet status, job timelines, and inventory.
- Ensure fleet files comply with D.O.T. standards.
- Maintain and update all department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct tours as needed to support operational needs.
- Identify safety improvement opportunities and assist in planning and implementing changes.
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving company goals.
- Strong understanding of fleet inventory and operations.
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on guest service excellence.
