Job Overview :

The Lead Carpenter is responsible for overseeing and performing a wide range of repairs and improvements to buildings, props, signs, and homes at Kualoa Ranch. This role includes leading and training a two-person crew, ensuring efficient teamwork and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities :

• Carpentry - Lead and execute general and finish carpentry tasks, including but not limited to repairing railings, stairs, decks, walls, roofs, constructing signs, props, small buildings, and more.
• Work Orders - Receive and execute reactive repair tasks as directed by management, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Project Leadership - Oversee various projects, including repairing movie props, constructing new buildings, and securing or extending the life of existing buildings and props.
• Additional Tasks - Perform related tasks such as painting, patching, minor plumbing or electrical repairs, masonry work, and small-scale landscaping as needed.
• Job Documentation - Accurately track time and materials used for each job.
• Residential Assistance - Occasionally support residential projects as required.
• Role Adaptation - Duties may evolve over time to align with the changing needs of Kualoa Ranch.
