The Regional Director of Structural Engineering leads the Structural Team in collaboration with architects and other engineering disciplines. Provides lead management and oversight to the Structural team and inspire and develop the team's skills and qualities. Takes the lead role in securing work for the Structural team and support the other disciplines in securing work. Takes a lead role in the discipline workload programming. Ensures the commercial interests of the Clients and the Company is safeguarded. Takes a lead role in the Consultant Appointment process to identify necessary fees. To provide design proposals, professional expertise and support, working in direct collaboration with the project design teams in competently implementing the requirements of individual project briefs. Contributes to the success of the company. Able to lead and establish standards to complete a project from the inception through to the construction and handover phase, including preparing drawings, BIM models, specifications, tender and construction information, monitoring works in production and dealing with clients, contractors and suppliers. Works as an integral collaborative member of a project team faithfully carrying out the activities that would be expected of a competent qualified design professional.
