As the Director of Maintenance, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance activities of our skilled technicians. This includes scheduling maintenance jobs, identifying opportunities for process improvements, and ensuring that all activities are completed efficiently and effectively. You will also be responsible for managing customer expectations, completing FAA log entries, and performing escalated/select maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Schedule maintenance jobs 2-3 months in advance
• Identify training needs of direct reports
• Forecast maintenance activities
• Manage customer expectations
• Complete FAA log entries for maintenance history
• Perform escalated/select maintenance tasks
Qualifications:
• Extensive experience in aviation maintenance (single engines to light jets)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain budgets
• Proficient in FAA regulations and compliance
