The Field Service Manager is a full-time, permanent position for people interested in developing new and growing current aftersales business with a focus on technical problem solving and business growth. In the dealer’s workshop or in the dealer principal's office, Field Service Managers blend digital solutions with personal and professional relationships to provide simple and reliable solutions. This involves routinely traveling to dealer locations in your assigned territory as well as to the Kubota division offices to support overall operations.
What will you do?
Ensure customer productivity, uptime, and profitability through dealer relationship
Thriving in a team-based environment while staying self-motivated and entrepreneurial in thought
Develop dealers service management/profitability capabilities
Increase dealers Connected Support capabilities using KubotaNOW Telematics
Drive service capacity growth on the territory through improving technician recruitment, retention, and efficiency
Administer warranty and campaign (product recalls), support Extended Warranty and Maintenance contract sales
Resolve product quality or performance issues for customers and dealers within specified timeframe
Assist in providing technical feedback from the field to manufacturing, marketing, and engineering on dealer/customer issues
Do you have what it takes?
A degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: Education, Business, Management, Engineering, Technology, Agricultural Sciences, Marketing, or equivalent discipline.
Time management and organizational skills to accommodate business needs
Mechanical Reasoning abilities
Strong knowledge of profit and loss cash flow
Ability to apply advanced diagnostics and problem-solving techniques to any situation
Excellent business and technical communication skills
Must be able to travel 65%
Valid US driver’s License
