Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders and making recommendations based on their preferences.
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Maintain inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with health regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- A passion for hospitality and a desire to help create an enjoyable atmosphere for guests.
