Your Role
Our Sea Logistics Training Expert is responsible for facilitating onboarding and ongoing training programs for new and current employees within a specific area, focusing on operational systems, field competencies, and soft skills. This role emphasizes effective facilitation techniques to ensure engaging and productive learning experiences. Working closely with the National Training Manager and key stakeholders, you will ensure that all training sessions are aligned with business needs, accurately documented, and impactful.
Your Responsibilities
Facilitate onboarding, role-specific, and ad-hoc training programs for both new hires and current employees, using effective methods to engage, inspire, and motivate participants in their development journey
Coordinate with the National Training Manager to plan and schedule training sessions aligned with the program's framework, ensuring seamless delivery for both new hires and current employees
Support logistics and setup for training sessions, ensuring materials are prepared and technology is functional
Encourage questions and discussions to deepen understanding, making sure that all trainees can follow along
Use quizzes, group exercises, and interactive discussions to assess understanding during sessions
Assess current training gaps, recommend targeted programs, and coordinate with stakeholders to support strategic training initiatives that meet evolving business requirements
Actively participate in departmental meetings and workshops, contributing insights on business processes and supporting collaborative projects as required
Evaluate training effectiveness by providing observations and insights, gathering participant feedback to help inform improvements
Drive feedback collection efforts from teams to provide valuable insights for enhancing existing training materials and plans, while ensuring alignment with the overall training strategy
Your Skills and Experiences
Bachelor's Degree in Education, Human Resources, Business, or a related field
2 years experience in Training and Leadership, preferably in a corporate environment
Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong emphasis on PowerPoint and presentation skills to effectively convey information, engage trainees, and collaborate with team members
Experience managing multiple training sessions, documenting training completions, and tracking progress their progress
Flexibility in training approaches, adjusting to meet evolving program requirements and diverse learner needs
Ability to assess training effectiveness through feedback and metrics, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing session impact

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
