Your Role
Directly reporting to the Pricing Manager or Supervisor Sea Logistics, Northeast USA. Will directly work with the Sales Team, Accounts owners, business operations and Sea freight Trade Managers to support set growth and profit based targets for the North East Area in USA. Create analytical dashboards and gap analysis to monitor and guide improvements in productivity, carriers and customer performances. Formulate and manage replies to mid-size regional bid (RFQs) and spot quotations requests. Manages the booking allocation in coordination with the overseas and in alignment with the pricing and carrier strategy established for the North East Area in USAYour Responsibilities
- Work within the Northeast Pricing Team to formulate Responses to local/regional RFQs and local spot pricing requests.
- Manage pricing updates for existing customers (rates extension and/or revision, monthly market GRI’s (General Rates Increases), quarterly bunker updates (BAF/BUC) etc.)
- Create, maintain & utilize analytical dashboards to monitor and guide improvements in productivity, carriers and customer performances. Main KPI’s include Number of Quotes, Turnaround Time, win ratio, Volume performance against set Minimum Quantity Commitments (MQC), Booking adherence to contractual agreements & Carrier performance against committed space allocation
- Work closely with Trade Managers to monitor trends and carrier performance on their respective trade lane and product.
- Support Northeast Systems Manager with automation efforts, specifically focused on automated accurate billing and booking instruction at origin/destination offices.
- Work closely with Pricing Manager or Supervisor to develop pricing strategies for new/ existing customers and develop pricing team KPI’s based on historical data.

- 4 years' experience
- Negotiation skills (communication, decision making etc.)
