This unique position with the Kukio Community Association provides a competitive starting wage of $27.00 per hour. As a Tree Trimmer team member, we provide comprehensive training to support and enhance your ability to properly trim all species of tree on our property, safely utilizing generally accepted practice and certified training. The work schedule will require some weekends.
Physical fitness is important, as this role requires traversing various terrains, climbing and physical tasks including but not limited to lifting heavy limbs and other objects. This position also requires an ability to work off the ground, climbing coconuts and working with equipment such as a scissor lift to high locations within tree canopies. Additionally, good communication skills are necessary to work effectively within a team and provide clear updates on your progress. While previous experience in tree trimming is a plus, it is not a requirement. We value individuals with a passion for environmental preservation and a willingness to learn.
