What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Job Coach position at Kulanu Academy?
Summary:
A job coach will accompany students to their community-based internships while guiding their vocational tasks and goals.
Core Functions:
- Assist in development and coordination of work experiences that respond to an individual’s vocational interests, preferences, and abilities.
- In collaboration with the vocational team, assist in assessing individual skills and abilities in foundation and competency level work related skills.
- Acclimate and orient individuals served to work site and safety protocols.
- Train individuals in core tasks.
- Develop and implement coaching strategies to expedite skill acquisition for those always served and maximize independence.
- Counsel individuals on appropriate work behaviors.
- Document services provided in compliance with agency, local, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- 1-3 years experience in field preferred
- Be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma.
- Be capable of physically assisting students with specials needs as required
Schedule- Monday - Thursday 7:50am-4:00pm Friday 7:50am-1:30pm
