Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst II

FLSA Status: Exempt

Salary: $64,900 - $78,700

Reports to: Senior Supply Chain Manager

Location: Onsite.

KULR Technology Location: Webster, Texas.

Travel: Occasional travel required


Position Overview:

Under strategic leadership, the Supply Chain Analyst II manages the flow of goods and resources to ensure on time delivery to customers while simultaneously minimizing the cost of the organization’s supply chain. This role collaborates with teams cross-functionally to prioritize procurement and production activities while processing transactions and maintaining accuracy of information in the ERP System for company-wide traceability. The Supply Chain Analyst II oversees inventory control, warehousing, and inbound/outbound transportation.

Functions:

  • Manages the flow of goods and resources required by the supply chain to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs.
  • Leads coordination activities with sales, procurement, production and engineering, and other functions to optimize the supply chain.
  • Processes, monitors and fulfills sales orders in NetSuite ERP System, reporting status updates on weekly cross-functional SIOP meeting.
  • Resolves bottlenecks or problem areas in the supply chain.
  • Monitors supplier performance and implements corrective actions as necessary to ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are met.
  • Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
  • Manages and monitors supplier qualification and performance to ensure they meet company and customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and distributors.
  • Implement and monitor processes to ensure compliance to all contractual, legal and regulatory requirements (ITAR, HazMat, DOT, DG, FAR/DFAR clause and other).
  • Drive cost reduction efforts to achieve year over year material savings, including negotiation tactics, creative problem solving, strategic sourcing efforts and regular communication with suppliers.
  • Monitors risk in the supply chain and proposes solutions, reviewing strategy with Supply Chain Director and/or Senior Leadership team.
  • Maintain capable supply chain to meet demand ensuring cost competitiveness, high quality, and reliable delivery.
  • Streamline processes, including utilization of ERP, to drive continuous improvement efforts and efficiency of tasks.
  • Assist Director of Supply Chain in new markets as they scale in management of order volume for new and existing products and materials.
  • Collaborate with the operations team in the assignment and understanding of part numbers between sales, ops and engineering in both organizational record keeping and ERP systems.
  • Work with accounting and auditors for end of quarter inventory cycle count reports, adjustments, and providing all inventory backup for proper accounting.
  • Maintain up to date inventory data by working with supply chain and operations teams to establish and maintain functioning inventory related transactions within the ERP, closing gaps with transfers and adjustments as needed.
  • Research, procure and implement technologies needed to track shipments, manage warehouse operations, resolve issues and improve overall supply chain visibility.
  • Work closely with Shipping and Receiving, assisting in shipments or receiving duties as required.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in related field.
  • Manufacturing, material science, technology or analytics background preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, with experience in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite).
  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCP) preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendors and partake in strategic planning and Supply Chain optimization.
  • Knowledge and experience with international shipments and related regulatory requirements including land, ocean and parcel freight.
  • Knowledge and experience shipping hazardous materials and/or dangerous goods with appropriate shipping software.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge and experience managing inventory.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others, build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to accomplish business objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to assume personal accountability, address limitations, exhibits honesty and respect towards others, the company and oneself.

  • Operating machinery (Forklift, Pallet Jack) occasionally.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers occasionally.
  • Adjusting or moving objects up to 100 pounds in all directions occasionally.
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods, constantly.
  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another constantly.
