Position Overview:
We seek a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Specialist to join our growing team. This part-time role is ideal for someone experienced in logistics, fulfillment, and inventory management within a consumer goods or D2C environment. You will ensure smooth operations and deliver an exceptional experience for our customers and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Logistics Management: Coordinate with freight carriers and manufacturers to ensure timely and efficient shipping and delivery.
- Fulfillment Oversight: Monitor processes at the fulfillment center to ensure SLA compliance across all channels.
- Inventory Management: Track and update inventory levels, ensuring accurate records and forecasting.
- Sales Records Maintenance: Maintain organized records of sales by channel for analysis and reporting.
- COGS Maintenance: Keep the cost of goods sold (COGS) data up to date for all products.
- Event Logistics: Plan and manage shipping and setup logistics for events, Expo’s, and wholesale orders
- Shopify Expertise: Manage and update our Shopify platform as needed.
- Fulfillment Knowledge: Understand and optimize D2C and consumer goods fulfillment processes.
- Customer Service: Respond to Customer Service emails to uphold our high standard of putting customer first philosophy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Proven experience in operations, logistics, or fulfillment, preferably in consumer goods or e-commerce.
- Familiarity with Shopify and other D2C platforms.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficient in managing inventory and maintaining sales records.
- Knowledge of fulfillment SLA standards and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment (remote and in-person as needed).
