As a Fleet Safety Manager for our Roosevelt, Utah shop, you'll be at the heart of our logistics operation—coaching drivers, reviewing in-cab video footage, and creating a culture where safety comes first. You'll work closely with drivers to build relationships, provide real-time feedback, and ensure every trip is a safe one. From investigating incidents and conducting field audits to leading safety meetings and training, you'll play a critical role in protecting our people and our business. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Provide safety and compliance leadership to fleet, including reviewing and coaching on any safety related violation captured on in cab videos
- Facilitate all applicable training for drivers in the implementation of the Transportation Safety Management System
- Investigate accidents for cause and prevention, reviews all accident reports for completeness, analyzes photos and videos as available, participates in accident reconstruction as needed and interacts with insurance company representatives to ensure that all claims are handled promptly and professionally
- Conducts candidate road tests as necessary to satisfy skill set requirements.
- Schedules and directs periodic safety meetings with drivers and other employees.
- Audits driver road performance, appearance, customer service skills, schedule compliance by field observations, etc.
- Conduct safety inspections of facilities, vehicles, and equipment and provide documentation to the appropriate supervisor
- Monitor and correct HOS issues using current E-log system
- Additional Responsibilities Assigned
- High school diploma/GED
- 1 yrs. years of transportation experience working with safety and regulatory compliance preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Class A CDL preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening
- Practice operating independently without the need for continuous oversight or direction
- Proven ability to effectively prioritize competing needs

Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
