Kumon Math And Reading Center Of Charlotte Prosperity Church Road in Huntersville, NC is looking for one early learner assistant (prek-1st grade) to join our 16 person strong team. We are located on 13010 Eastfield Road, C 500. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and hard-working.
Responsibilities
- Work with Preschool through 1st grade students developing their preliteracy and numeracy skills.
- Will train on the Kumon Method
Qualifications
- Ideal for anyone interested in Early Childhood Development
- Must enjoy working with children
- Outgoing and service-oriented personality
- Punctual, well-organized and reliable
- Energetic and proactive (e.g.: ability to work well under pressure and multitask)
- English is a primary language as you are teaching students alphabetic knowledge, letter sounds, consonant combinations, and vowel patterns.
- Preschool/Kinder experience a plus!
- Must pass assessment tests
- Part-time hours from 3pm to 8pm
