Kumon Math And Reading Center Of Charlotte Prosperity Church Road in Huntersville, NC is looking for one early learner assistant (prek-1st grade) to join our 16 person strong team. We are located on 13010 Eastfield Road, C 500. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and hard-working.
Responsibilities

*Work with Preschool through 1st grade students developing their preliteracy and numeracy skills. * Will train on the Kumon Method
Qualifications

* Ideal for anyone interested in Early Childhood Development * Must enjoy working with children * Outgoing and service-oriented personality * Punctual, well-organized and reliable * Energetic and proactive (e.g.: ability to work well under pressure and multitask) * English is a primary language as you are teaching students alphabetic knowledge, letter sounds, consonant combinations, and vowel patterns. * Preschool/Kinder experience a plus! * Must pass assessment tests *Part-time hours from 3pm to 8pm

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Compensation is $12.00 - $15.00/hour.
