Front Desk Assistant at Kumon Math & Reading Center of Madison

Kumon Math & Reading Center Of Madison in Madison, MS is looking for a front desk assistant to join our team. We are located on 111 Colony Crossing Way, Suite 200 in Madison, MS. Our ideal candidate is outgoing, energetic, & reliable!

Anticipated Start Date: Monday, March 3, 2025

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer walk-in questions & talk to student parents
• Answer and screen phone calls
• Manage messaging center (incoming & outgoing messages)
• Assist with New Student Enrollment
• Oversee Student Check In & Check Out Process
• Maintain office cleanliness and organization of resources
• Grade student work & maintain student records as needed
• Engage & communicate with teammates regarding student performance
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing documents
• Excellent customer service skills and courteous phone manner
• Time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to remain patient and positive with students
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Fast learner and comfortable with electronics (i.e. computers, tablets, & phones)

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Compensation is $9.00 - $11.00/hour.
