The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for managing billing operations, ensuring accurate invoicing, and working closely with internal teams and customers to resolve billing issues. This role requires excellent analytical skills, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to maintain strong relationships with customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate, review, and distribute accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
- Resolve billing discrepancies by working with customers and internal departments
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and billing standards
- Process adjustments, credits, and refunds as needed
- Collaborate with direct oversite to reconcile accounts and close month-end billing

- Maintain accurate billing records and update customer accounts in the system
- Prepare billing reports for management as required
- Other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate Traits
- 3 year in accounting / AR/AP (Required)
- Excellent customer service (Required)
- Strong organizational and time management skills (Required)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-Motivated to get work done in support of personnel and company objectives
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced office environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP experience (preferred)
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Ability to work independently and also in a team environment
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
