The ideal candidate has a proven track record in sales or corporate account management within the orthopedic, biologics, or medical device industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Account Management:
- Identify, prioritize, and manage high-value corporate accounts, fostering strong, strategic relationships with IDNs and other key healthcare networks.
- Develop tailored strategies for each account, aligning with company objectives and the specific needs of the client.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all corporate accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement.
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement a corporate account sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Partner with internal sales and marketing teams to ensure cohesive, customer-focused strategies across corporate accounts.
- Collaborate with product teams to understand and communicate product value propositions effectively to account stakeholders.
- Contract Negotiation and Management:
- Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and amendments, working closely with legal and finance departments to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Monitor compliance with contract terms, ensuring customer needs are met while maintaining profitability and adherence to company policies.
- Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis:
- Maintain a deep understanding of the orthopedic biologics market, including trends, regulatory updates, and competitive landscape.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on market dynamics and key account performance.
- Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Clinical, and Operations, to align on account strategies and optimize product delivery.
- Mentor and guide junior account managers and sales team members, fostering a team-oriented, customer-centered culture.
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in corporate account management, sales, or business development within the orthopedic, biologics, or broader medical device industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing large, complex accounts in healthcare or life sciences.
- Strong negotiation skills with a history of securing favorable terms in corporate partnerships.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, as required.
- In-depth knowledge of orthopedic biologics or regenerative medicine products.
- Established relationships with IDNs, or other key account stakeholders in healthcare.
- Proficiency in CRM and analytics tools for tracking account performance and forecasting.
