Maintenance Technician

Apply expertise in electrical systems, industrial controls, mechanical, hydraulic, compressed air, ammonia refrigeration, boiler systems, and waste treatment in a high-speed CPG environment. Utilize and implement continuous improvement practices, including 5S, Lean, and TPM methodologies. Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs to maximize equipment performance and longevity. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize production interruptions. Install, modify, and maintain production equipment and systems. Adhere to safety protocols, including LO/TO, OSHA standards, and GMP requirements, to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment issues, driving operational efficiency. Utilize CMMS systems (e.g., EMaint) for managing work orders, scheduling maintenance, and tracking inventory. Operate and maintain knowledge of hazardous materials, including toxic and corrosive chemicals. Possess and apply strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic and repair skills. Maintain acute visual and auditory awareness to identify and address potential hazards. Effectively manage time and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts, as required. Skills and Abilities Collaboration: Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team. Communication: Clear communication with team members to ensure production efficiency. Project management: Capable of managing multiple tasks with shifting priorities. Quality control: Attention to detail for equipment maintenance and repairs. Safety compliance: Adherence to LO/TO, OSHA standards, and forklift safety. Physical abilities: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., pushing 60 lbs., and performing other physical demands, including mounting/dismounting forklifts. Technical Proficiency: Competent in basic computer skills, welding (stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals is a plus), and using production-related software. Experience and Education College degree in Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields preferred. Journeyman certificate a plus Experience conducting PMs on Industrial Equipment Experience in the maintenance of converting and web-fed coating equipment a plus Forklift experience
