What are the responsibilities and job description for the Screen Printing Operator position at KURZ Transfer Products LP?
Set up and operate single and multi-head screen printing machines according to established procedures and work instructions.
Inspect printed material for defects (e.g., color variations, misregistration, blemishes).
Conduct in-process quality checks and make necessary adjustments to maintain print quality.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Assist with basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
Accurately complete all required paperwork, including production records and quality reports.
Collaborate effectively with other operators, supervisors, and support departments (e.g., R&D, Color Match, Quality Control, Finishing).
Other duties as required.

Technical skills: Possess basic computer skills to operate production related software and maintain digital records.
Quality control: Possess a keen eye for detail and the ability to distinguish colors precisely to conduct thorough quality inspections.
Safety compliance: Demonstrate a commitment to safety by adhering to OSHA standards.
Physical abilities: Meet the physical demands of the role, including static pull strength of 84 lbs., push 60 lbs., lift 50 lbs.
Mobility: Climb steps frequently and maintain sustained focus for an extended period.
Experience and Education
High School Diploma or GED.
Basic and intermediate math skills.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Familiarity with SAP/Microsoft Office is a plus.
Previous roll to roll screen printing experience is a plus
Prepress experience is a plus
Experience working in “clean room” environments is a plus
