The Assistant Director of Data Administration will play a key role in maintaining KUF’s alumni and donor database and assisting with prospect research, ensuring that information is accurate and readily available for fundraising and engagement efforts. This role will be the backbone of our data-driven strategy, providing crucial insights that will shape our campaign and enhance donor relationships. A valuable member of the Advancement Services team, the ideal candidate will be organized, process-oriented, and a critical thinker while maintaining a collaborative approach.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Maintain and update constituent records in Raiser’s Edge including demographic information, employment updates, education, relationships, etc.
· Implement regular quality control checks on constituent and alumni records, identifying and correcting discrepancies as needed.
· Collaborate with Director of Data Administration on data requests from university and internal partners.
· Maintain tracking of board members, volunteers, affinity groups, and giving society membership.
· Assist Director of Data Administration with pledge reminders, pledge write-offs, and entering new pledges in Raiser’s Edge.
· Collaborate with the Director of Analytics and Research on prospect management and research-related tasks.
· Assist in preparing research profiles and reports for potential and identified major gift and high-level annual gift prospects.
· Assist in the management of development officer actions and opportunity tracking as needed.
· Provide weekly reports to support fundraising and engagement performance.
· Maintain consistent data entry standards to support fundraising efforts, donor stewardship, and reporting.
· Work with Communications team to provide email and direct mail lists for newsletters, solicitations, and event invitations.
· Keep informed of data best practices and emerging trends in database management and higher education fundraising.
· Build collaborative relationships with colleagues and university partners.
· Assist where needed in the execution of special events and campaigns.
· Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
· Other duties as assigned.
Skills, Professional Background, and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 1-3 years’ experience in a comparable position, with preference for experience in higher-ed fundraising.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the established ability to navigate a fast-paced environment featuring multiple assignments and quickly changing priorities.
- Demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and manage several projects simultaneously.
- Possesses outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
- Ability to learn to use Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT and preferred web-based online fundraising platforms
- Engenders a collegial team environment.
- A thorough understanding of the relationship between an institutionally-related foundation and its university is helpful.
- Ability to relate comfortably to donors, alumni, parents and volunteers, as well as to faculty/staff members, administrators and other staff.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
This position will remain open until filled; however, preference will be given to applications received by Friday, February 28, 2025.
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000.
