The Compliance Analyst is responsible for supporting compliance for Kuvare and working alongside the rest of the legal and compliance team. Primary responsibilities will include working as a compliance representative on projects from initial concept to final implementation, assist in providing employee compliance training, assisting with corporate governance responsibilities and other compliance matters as needed.
What you"ll do
Provide day to day overall support to compliance department.Participate in projects as the Compliance representative, working with the AVP and Compliance Speciality and collaborating with internal departments and third parties to help ensure successful project implementation.Assist in gathering of board materials, prepare and distribute quarterly materials for board and board committee meetings.Manage the annual corporate entity filings, providing required information to third-party vendor, tracking renewal dates and ensuring entities remain in good standing.Manage the onboarding of new employees and removal of terminated employees from the Compliance training tool.Assist the AVP Compliance with market conduct and financial examinations.Assist with compliance testing of operations, including third party administrators.Upon request, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Qualifications
Minimum of five years of related work experience.Extensive experience working on compliance-related activities for insurance carriers.Strong analytical skillsStrong organizational skillsDemonstrated research and trouble shooting skillsDemonstrated ability to listen with empathy and compassionStrong verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to translate critical information into layman's termsStrong risk assessment, negotiation, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills.Strong interpersonal skillsProficient on Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionDemonstrated ability to deliver results under pressure in a tight timeframe preferredKnowledge of annuities and life plans and processes highly desirableProven track record of process improvement and innovation desirablePhysical Demands
