About the role
The Manager of IT, Policy Administrations' role is to plan, coordinate, and supervise all staff management activities related to the design, development, implementation, and / or support of organizational staff. This includes on-boarding, off-boarding, and skills development of staff. It is a working technical / professional role, meaning that it involves research, design, and / or document approaches and frameworks for advancing the staff skillsets and capabilities.

Leadership
Plan, lead, and develop the staff skillsets / talent / capabilities.
Participate in daily, weekly, monthly, and annual planning process as appropriate to determine staff needs.
Provide creative and energetic leadership for staff through effective communications, coaching, training, and development.
Drive accountability of deliverables from staff and vendors.
Communicate areas of accountability and performance expected.
Determine standards of performance as a basis to review progress.
Foster a high-performance culture conductive to maximizing staff morale and productivity.
Develop staff for future advancement.
Strategy & Planning
Lead members in conceptualizing and developing their skill sets and capabilities for supporting the organizational needs.
Work with members to prepare and document needs.
Acquisition & Deployment
Conduct research on emerging staff development approaches and frameworks.
