Warehouse General Manager

General Manager, Warehouse – Greenville, SC

Reports to: Vice President of Operations

Summary: The General Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and enforcing policies and procedures to be consistent between all locations. Oversee operational systems, processes, and infrastructure while looking for opportunities of improvement or revision. Support the current business plan established for the Kuzco Group.

Responsibilities:

· Meet or exceed all established operations and business plan goals while ensuring that all company processes are followed, and customer service standard are achieved.

· Management of outsourced services

· Develops working relationships with all employees to make them feel appreciated and included

· Establish monthly/annual goals and KPI’s for individuals and teams.

· Improve cycle times for OE, Picking, Shipping and RMA processing.

· Identify team performance gaps and development areas and offer solutions to bridge the gaps.

· Provide leadership supervision through regular staff meetings.

· Develop, implement, and document continuous improvement policies throughout the operations teams.

· Share process improvement techniques with the team to increase productivity while achieving projected costs savings.

· Domestic and international travel may be required.

· Effectively recruit, train, develop, evaluate, motivate, delegate and monitor their activities

· Other duties as assigned.

· Participate and coordinate engagement activities to increase morale.

Basic Requirements:

· 4-year degree preferred or 10 years of industry related experience.

· 5 years of multi-site management experience.

· Experience with outsourcing services, solutions and 3PLs, from research and design to partnering and implementation.

· Demonstrated leadership capabilities.

· Results oriented with strong people skills including the capability to handle various personalities.

· Strong working knowledge of Advanced warehouse techniques, 5S, 6 Sigma, Lean Manufacturing

· Understanding of Operations Metrics and managing to metrics

· Strong Verbal and Written communication – Spanish and/or Mandarin a plus.

· Attention to details

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word (office)

· Must have a strong work ethic and sense of responsibility to the teammates and customers

· Must have good integrity and attitude
