As a Family Navigator, you’ll be connecting families to essential resources, providing guidance, and playing a key role in their journey to self-sufficiency. Plus, you’ll be part of a fun, supportive team that’s dedicated to making a difference!
What You'll Do:
Assess and Connect: Meet with families, build relationships, and understand their needs through in-depth assessments. From there, you’ll connect them with services that match their needs—housing, healthcare, education, employment, and more!
Develop Plans: Work directly with families to create personalized service plans that help them achieve their goals. Be a part of the journey as families work through challenges and celebrate their successes!
Monitor Progress: Keep track of family progress and make adjustments to plans as needed. Your ongoing support and guidance will help families build resilience and reach their full potential.
Provide Life Skills and Parenting Education: Lead workshops on life skills and parenting to empower families and help them thrive. You’ll play a big role in enhancing social and emotional competence!
Build Stronger Communities: Advocate for families, help build social connections, and promote protective factors that ensure lasting positive change.
What You’ll Bring:
- Education: High School Diploma
- Experience: Some experience working with children or families in need, or just a strong passion for making a positive impact!
- Skills: Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook), and a willingness to learn and grow.
- License/Certification: Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance. Must be at least 21 years old.
- Flexible Schedule: Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings/nights and possible weekends.
