Location : Kansas City, MO
Pay : $43,888.00 annually
Job Summary
The Food Services Manager is responsible for the for assigning and overseeing tasks for our food service staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. As the food services manager, you will purchase all food and non-food supplies, accurately account for meals served on a monthly basis, ensure compliance with both internal and external job training requirements, and manage the receipt and distribution of in-kind donations for agency use.
Approximately 50% of this role involves administrative tasks, including maintaining compliance with health department and DESE regulations, record-keeping, and coordinating meal service operations.
We are seeking someone who is comfortable handling administrative responsibilities alongside direct meal service support. While this is not a supervisory position, the role will be supervised by the Assistant Director of Operations.
Work Schedule : Monday–Friday, 7 : 00 AM–3 : 00 PM.
Education & Experience :
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- Eight (8) years of food services experience
Licensure / Certification : ServSafe
