Freshwater Curated Goods is a unique space where it joins together a production workspace and retail storefront. If you are pursuing a career in the arts and / or business with a desire to be immersed in the process of running a small wholesale, online & retail business, this is a great opportunity and we would love to meet you! The Studio & Shop Assistant will be a part of the production process of creating and completing Freshwater-made products. The Studio & Shop Assistant will also be responsible for assisting customers as they shop within our Retail Shop and all the tasks that apply. We are looking for someone with a passion for small business to assist with everyday studio production & retail storefront tasks. The right person should have an optimistic mindset and a willingness to learn from our management team. We are looking for someone with a bright & bubbly personality who genuinely loves people and being a positive part of someone's day!
DUTIES :
- Daily tasks where you "finish" Freshwater-made products (tagging, cleaning, assembling, packaging)
- Help keep track of job supply inventory
- Keeping work area clean and organized to increase efficiency
- Greet customers warmly and offer them assistance and answer any questions.
- Add up customers’ total purchases and accept payment
- Keep front desk and storefront clean and tidy - includes cleaning, dusting, sweeping, watering plants, etc.
- Restock product as needed
- Perform all opening & closing duties
- Input, creating labels and tag all new inventory
TIME : 20 / - hours a week
SCHEDULE : TBD - Available on Saturdays is required.
LOCATION : Augusta, GA.
