Associate Media Planner, Communications Planning
The Associate Media Planner position will be an integral part of the Communications Planning team and work alongside and collaborate with the Investment & Execution and Strategy & Creative teams. This position offers a tremendous growth opportunity for a motivated and talented individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist team in monthly maintenance of media plans, budgets, and billing responsibilities.
- Learn and understand media planning tools and processes.
- Utilize proprietary and syndicated research tools such as Mediatools, IMS/Clear Decisions, Nielsen AdIntel, Pathmatics, Nielsen Media Impact, SEMRush, MRI Connect.
- Quantify deliveries of media plan scenarios
- Study demographic data and consumer profiles to identify desired target audiences.
- Analysis of Competitive reports to aid in strategic planning
- Collect data and draft Point-of-View (POV) reports on new media opportunities.
- Assist in deck/presentation assembly and preparation.
- Organize and maintain up-to-date department contact database, media kits, internal reports and industry research.
- Attend and coordinate team vendor meetings, trainings and learning sessions.

· An interest in media and marketing and desire to learn and grow in position/agency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- BA/BS degree, preferably in Media, Advertising, Marketing or Communications
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, Proficiency in Excel a must (Pivot Tables a plus)
- 1 year of experience in an advertising agency or relevant position a plus
- Working experience with Media Software Programs such as MediaTools, IMS/Clear Decisions, Media Impact and Nielsen AdIntel
