Kwik Trip, Inc.’s Information Technology Department is seeking a full-time IT Data Analyst to join our Data Services team.
In this position you are responsible for data analytics, data reporting, and configuration of data tools. You will work with the IT Data Services team and Business Units in helping to define, creating, documenting, monitoring and testing of data reports and configuration procedures for data management tools.
The main responsibilities of this position are:
- Support and manage Kwik Trip MDM tools (Informatica and SAS) as well as any future ones.
- Proficiently build MDM jobs and solutions that ingest, match/merge, and egress data to downstream systems.
- Support and manage Kwik Trip enterprise reporting platforms, such as SSRS, Sigma and Power BI.
- Proficiently build reports and dashboards to meet the requests and needs of business stakeholders.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in creating standard and preferred data integration methodologies defined by the Data Engineering team.
- Work with software venders to ensure Kwik Trip receives the best possible support keep abreast of future technologies gain visibility into enhancements, escalate support issues where necessary, manage various health checks.
- Create and maintain standards for report creation and delivery.
- Creation of ETL jobs in data tools like Power BI Dataflow, Informatica ETL and SAS DataFlux.
- Act as a subject matter expert on enterprise data; understanding, documenting, cataloging and assisting business units on data topics.
- Create reports and dashboards in Sigma, Power BI, SSRS.
- Migrate reports from legacy platforms to preferred platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer or data science or a closely related field of study or equivalent work experience.
- At least two years related work experience.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Ability to use complex query statements and advanced database tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to identify root causes of issues and provide solutions.
- Knowledge of Master Data and Data Quality concepts and the tools to support.
- Ability to analyze and develop data requirements and data specifications.
- Knowledge of version control tools and release management.
- Excellent problem solving, collaboration, critical thinking, team building and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Experience with MicroStrategy and/or Crystal Reports a plus
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours.
